Colgate dominated faceoffs, with SU injured. SU shot from in front with time up was denied. What a fourth quarter. Colgate has now beaten SU for 2 years in a row.
The Colgate team I saw lose to Navy earlier this year seemingly would have had a tough time beating Wagner, let alone a team of Syracuse's caliber.  Fascinating result.

One of their complaints was the slow start due to the weather in CNY in Feb/Mar. SU Coach Desko was worried about how much better Colgate was getting, especially after winning their tourney. We all thought it was the usual pregame talk, but it looks like he was right.

I thought Colgate looked very strong against Bucknell in their league championship game.

The Swami is still projecting Princeton to get a bid to the tournament. That's a long shot.

Maybe we'll draw Colgate.

Al, thanks for sharing that link. Glynn's stick check leading to a fast break goal and then his bulldozer charge to the net with a behind the back shot were tremendous.

Glynn's been really sumthin' this year.  Hope he gets the recognition he deserves from the USILA.

Could he play at Cornell?  I keep reading conflicting things about Ivy restrictions on getting four years of eligibility spread over more than four years of taking courses on campus.  In any case, I'm hopin'.

And John McNiff.

The only official Ivy document I can find on-line is a few years old.  Ivy Manual 2004-2005.  It says that as of 1985, once you get your baccalaureate degree, you're out, except that you can finish the season if it continues past graduation.  Or, if you graduate in less than eight semesters, then you can hang on as a graduate student.

Thanks, everyone.  So the faceoff specialist from Yale who took his fourth year of eligibility playing for Loyola last year must have graduated and therefore had to go outside the Ivies.  [Geez, that's an awful sentence.]
