ESPN2 features one player per game on their scrolling "bottom line."  Last night both Nieuwy and Chartrand were listed.

I sure hope he waits for you...I definitely don't want him to score when I'm at MSG tomorrow rooting for the Rangers and Johnson City's own Mike Dunham !!!  :-D

Erica

maybe he'll score it on the 30th in Boston, I'll be there!

Man, do I have to get into this too?

Let's go Bruins!

jy3

two things:
what is he at now? 497 right?
devils need to get back that soft goal and win 2nite. :-)

He's still at 497 after the NYR game tonight (Monday).

As I recall, Joe has had some really big games on New Year's Eve/Day.  Maybe he'll pull out another one this year -- the Devils do play on Jan 1.

my brother said that people tend to get milestones vs. the capitals :) ::twitch::

Which Ranger goal are you referring to?

I was at the game and saw the highlights and I sure would not call either of their goals soft.  If you want to say Stevens blew playing the rebound on the second one, okay...but that didn't make it a soft goal.  Lintner made a sweet backhander to beat Brodeur.

I love it when "Scottie boy" looks bad.  :-D

dont remember but i think it was the first. but i may have been referring to stevens. couple days ago :-)
still want a hatty tomorrow!
from joe and baby :)::rolleyes::

Missed the 3rd period last night when he potted the two, but saw some of the post game interview with him.  He seemed relieved to get back on track and most of all, glad it got his team a win.

As much as I don't care for the Devils, being a Rangers fan, I enjoy watching him play...a work ethic and team attitude that is uncommon in today's NHL.  Deflects attention to his personal accomplishments, focuses on team goals, etc...

As I've said before, he and Dave Taylor are cut from the same bolt of cloth.
