McDONOUGH, GA - Nicholas Bawlf, Jr., 80, of McDonough, Georgia, and formerly of 510 University Ave., Ithaca, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007, in McDonough, Georgia.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Bangs Funeral Home.

I think it's safe to assume, given the age and the fact that it was listed in the Ithaca paper, that he was the son of THE Nicky Bawlf.

The team's MVP award is named the Nicky Bawlf Award.
