Already said he was calling it too close both ways, my critique wasn't so much for the # of straight penalties but due to calling one not even 1/2 a second after having killed one.

Don't know whether it falls on Murphy or the league, but this number of penalties (fourteen minors in forty minutes) really makes a mockery of the game.
