I think one of the funnier things at recent Cornell-Harvard games is that whenever Kevin Du is taking a faceoff in front of a CU section of fans, there's always a good number of them who yell "Duuuuuuuuuuuu!"  It's probably less out of respect and more out of the North American fans' primal instinct and genetic urges to just shout the name of any athlete with an "ooooo" sound in their name.  I'll call it "The Lou effect."

Name another opponent ever where the Faithful cheered his name without the word "sucks" being placed somewhere in close proximity.

Well, it's similar in sound to "Boooooo" so I think some people just assume we're booing and join in. It's also easier to pronounce than some other opponents' names.
