Cornell seemingly about to blow its 2nd huge late lead this week; led W & M by 13 with about 4:00 minutes left, but W & M has just run of 10 straight points to cut the lead to 59-56, as CU can't handle the pressure.  Now less than 2 minutes left, Cornell time out.

Cornell missed the shot; W & M scores with 1:00 left, Cornell lead at just one.

We're getting killed on the defensive glass, as W & M has had numerous put backs to cut into the lead.  Our inside game is pitiful, and that ultimately will be our downfall this season.

Battle (who has played well) just gets fouled and will go to the line for 2 shots with :44 left.

Hits the first FT, then knocks down the second.

We need a huge stop here.

W & M misses a three, Naeve grabs the board and will shoot 2 with 28.8 seconds left.

scoop85

Naeve hits the second of 2, CU by 4.

W & M then hits an immediate 3; Cornell up 62-61 with :22 left.  Nothing comes easy for this team.

W & M steals the inbound and we immediately foul.  W & M now going to the line for the lead with :14 left.  Hits the first to tie, then misses the second.

CU goes down with the rebound, but Battle called for the offensive foul with 2.8 left.

Teams going to OT; really bad finish again for the Red.  They've got to grow up fast.

W & M down by 4 in OT with :16 left.  What a horrific choke job (sorry, there's no other way to frame it).

Our lack of a true inside game is killing us at the end of these games.

Battle hits a layup with :09 left to cut the lead to 2.  We then foul W & M's best FT shooter with 6.7 seconds left ... but he misses the 1st, then hits the second.

CU can tie it with a 3.

Battle (?) tries a 3, but shoots an airball (he's a good slasher, but has no shot; he should in no way be taking that shot).

W & M hits 2 FT throws with a second left.
Game over, W & M wins 73-68 in OT.  Brutal, brutal loss.  Donahue's got some talent, but he's got to figure out how to hold double digit leads in the last 4 minutes of games.

Choking away leads late is becoming way too common with this team...that was tough to listen to.
