High energy start. Nice stickhandling by Topher to set up the first goal by Davenport (D) on a delayed penalty.

Too many penalties by Cornell including on attack. Is Tyler Mugford living his name?

ok, I'll bite.  Pretty good first period, and a big relief to kill the 5 on 3 (the second penalty call was ridiculous).  Best neutral zone passing I have seen by Cornell since, maybe, ever.  Both goalies playing well.  Topher Scott just gets better and better.  Freshmen look solid, and it is obvious they will be a special class (so long as they stick around).

Great to hear Emrick (sp?) rave about the atmosphere; in the first few minutes he said something to the effect that it's the best he's seen in college hockey.

The game will be tight, and probably decided by special teams.  Even strength we seem stronger; if we can stay out of the box we come out on top.

Feed died midway through the first intermission, revived itself 1:30 into the second. The S in CSTV must stand for scum.

Game tracker is doing its usual "stuck at the same place for twenty minutes" routine.

Looks as if we were outplayed during the period. Game Tracker says shots were  10 to 2 in favor of Harvard.

Is anyone out there either watching the game on TV or at Lynah? If so, what was it like?

A bit of sloppy play, a few breakouts gone bad. We aren't generating any offense by cycling in the corners, Harvard is doing a good job of shutting it down. We need to try some more creative offense.

Is anyone here actually watching the game?  Can we get a subjective assessment on how the two teams are playing?  I'm just going by gametracker here, and I'm discouraged by the number if shots we put up.  Looks like we spent a lot of time in the penalty box in the 2nd.

Harvard controlled the second period. Cornell had good chances, Harvared had good chances. Both goalies sharp. Good breakup of a 2-1 by Cornell D (Seminoff).

The second period shots were more one-sided in Harvard's favor than the game seemed. But yes it was the Cantabs' period.
