Well, I'm pretty sure that Higgins is one of the (at least) two Yale players guilty of throwing punches, does anyone know who would be the other?

I would certainly hope not - unless those two are really excitable.

Are there any decent newspaper editors these days?

"Yale, predicted to be an ECAC title contender, has a weekend league-opening series with Cornell, another ECAC power.

Another ECAC power. . .are they actually trying to say a 10th place hockey team is as good as a 1st place hockey team. I know that was last year, but come on. . .who are they trying to kid. Yale does not deserve to be implied as an ECAC power!

Let's GO Red!!!!

ECAC officials denied both UND and Yale's appeals of these suspensions.  Higgins, Bauman, Wax, and Deschenes will have to sit Friday.

There's just been a clarification posted to that story.

The appeal was not denied - because it's not an "appeal-able" action. The GF Herald had it wrong.
