Just wait till next week when the whole team washes thier jerseys in special super cleaner!  We'll sparkle then!

Looks more like consolidation at the top.  The top 2 teams gained ~100 pts, 3 & 4 got about 80 and so on.  There were a lot of teams getting "other votes" last week, and that dropped this week, both in number of teams and in number of votes received.

Maybe Denver & Cornell both fell this week because some folks realized how difficult their opening games are. Denver goes on the road to Maine (who's played 2 games), while Cornell will face a Michigan State team that has already beaten NoDak, has 2 upcoming exhibitions games, plus gets to play Michigan before heading to Lynah. Home or not, that's about as tough an opening weekend as one could have. Should be a lot of fun.

kessel and other u of mn freshman looked pretty good in exhibition vs alberta.  don't know if that factors in

The poll clearly penalized them for the bad ice that caused BC to cancel their exhibition this week.

Probably has something to do with Phil Kessel joining a Frozen Four team from last year.
