Well what happened was I put the sign up when he went to the box, and when I put it down this trucker guy starts saying that my signs were disgusting.  So I responded with an "ok, thats you're opinion, but I really son't care" to which he said, you're right you dont care, so moments after my dad started to scream at him and point his finger at him to which he told me that "I better be quiet" and I said, "you can say that in front of the cop a couple of seats over" to which he was called over and the trucker said " I nicely said that his sign was disrespectful and I asked him not to put it down, and the officer looked at it which I proceeded to say that this guy was threatining me and said that I and the poster was disqusting  AFTER I raised the sign.  To which the cop left I flipped him off and headed off to my own hockey game which we lost 2-1.

(Sorry for what may be an inconrehensible post as I just needed to vent)

goddamn ithaca hippies and their delicate sensibilities. everything offends everyone nowadays. from your posts, i take it that you are a high school/jr high student. by the time you attend cornell (if you choose to do so), you won't even be allowed to boo the other team- it might hurt their players', coaches' and fans' feelings, maybe our own fans' feelings since we seem to sympathize so much with others' pain.

Now...the cop didn't confiscate your sign or ask you to leave, right? You just left--wisely--because the mother trucker was obviously looking for a fight? It seems that Sarge really didn't want to kick anyone out.
