Six ECAC schools with votes, 3 in the top 15.  Not bad.

Section A

Number of teams by conference:

WCHA: 5
HEA: 5
ECAC: 3
CCHA: 3

Also, Harvard's lucky they only dropped 1 spot after embarassing themselves against Princeton.

Section A

The USA Today poll is exactly the same as the USCHO.com poll, except Minnesota-Duluth has the 15th spot to itself (i.e. Brown didn't make the top 15).

We were ahead last week...

They split with Michigan last weekend and have moved up right behind Cornell to #12.  How Cornell plays this weekend against a stronger team than WMU should show just how much progress this team has made since that horrible first weekend.
Also, Bowling Green should not be forgotten.  They did lose to Union, but should be a respectable team.
Tough weekend coming up, but we will have a better idea of this team after it.

Does anybody know when the first PairWise Rankings will be available?

We're not on it. Is our RPI that bad?

Following the links from Whelan's page shows that we come in at .4785, #38.  The #51 SOS rank (out of 58) sinks us even with #13 winning pct.  FWIW of course.

Section A

I would imagine that playing Ohio State this weekend will improve that SOS rating and also our overall PWR (especially since they beat Michigan)....??

So far we've only played 1 TUC (Clarkson), so you'd have to think our strength of schedule will improve with time.  Especialy considering our opponents in the next three weeks.
