Am I missing something, or was the featured lecturer a former Cornell student who didn't even graduate from Cornell? They couldn't find an actual Cornell graduate? Kevin Boothe?

they can have more than one person come to campus. some of the people who come to speak - even to teach - have no connection to cornell at all!

Yeah but it seemed like they had him come to campus because he was a Cornell football player who went to the NFL, to talk about his experiences. But he dipped midway through so it's kind of a weird message.

Yeah but it seemed like they had him come to campus because he was a Cornell football player who went to the NFL, to talk about his experiences. But he dipped midway through so it's kind of a weird message.

obviously they did... and no it isn't! there didn't have to be any ill-will in the departure. things happen. he obviously still has good memories of the place and he didn't burn any bridges.
