What a catch from Dorran Smith in the back corner of the end zone. Missed PAT, so 14-6. Forced another punt. Blindside block on Cornell on the return followed by a personal foul by Colgate - probably in response. No surprise that Cornell - Colgate gets a little chippy.

By the way, Page got benched after throwing two picks in two passes. Bass-Sulpezio has been QB since.

Going to be difficult to any games this season with uneven QB play.  Could be looking at a 1-9 or 2-8 record at this rate but not unexpected.  With Wang graduating I was anticipating  a set-back on the record.  I hope we see at least one of three freshman RBs get some carries at some point this season.  Keep building the program with better talent.  Very difficult to win games when the QB is the leading rusher.

Pick number 3. For a pick six.

This game is over at the half.  Hope we see the freshman QB from Florida get some reps in the 2nd half.

Going nowhere without an effective QB.  Let's see what Downes can do.  Develop for the future, if nothing else.

Cornell closed to 28-21 but that was as it got. Final score Colgate 41-21. Work to be done. The offense is putting up some numbers but too many mistakes. 4 INTs (two from each QB) and a bunch of 4th down failures.

If you can't win the turnover battle, you can't win the game.

Some questionable play-calling in the red zone didn't help.

Agreed with the strange play calling on that one drive deep in Colgate territory in the 4th quarter.  2nd and 3 and call for 2 straight pass plays-at least mix in a run.  In spite of the turnovers when the Red got it down to 28-21 I thought they had a chance.  Unfortunately immediately after Cornell's TD the defense could not get off the field during Colgate's drive to go up 2 TDs.  The games as they say are won in the trenches and Colgate's offensive and defensive lines respectively  were better than ours.

Cornell's DL is easily the lightest weight-wise in the Ivy League, that doesn't help. They have a 310 DL 2026 commit which is the size DL player they need to continue to bring into the program.
