Figured a new thread is called for for recruit next fall and beyond.  Tonight Aidan Cobb, a 5'10" forward from Ridgefield, CT via the Kent School tweeted that he's committed to Cornell. This past season Kent won its first NE Prep championship and Cobb was a key player. He appears to be in the class of 2020.

Cobb was one year behind Jimmy Rayhill on the Yale Jr Bulldogs U16 team.

Stienberg was ranked around 133rd for North American skaters, so he was drafted much earlier than anticipated.

Now we'll see if Jack Malone is drafted.  Probably look for him to go in the 5th or 6th round.

Nothing specific Cornell in this article, but a good explanation about the development of junior hockey options in the US, specifically the USHL and the National Team Development Program; Seattle Times article - US junior options.
