Cornell heads out of town to play Brown and Yale.

It's tough to play at Brown because there is no crowd.  They have averaged 696 fans for 9 home games.

From USCHO attendance stats:

Brown   9   6,263   696   2,495   27.9

Playing Yale is always a good game for the most part.  Control their top line and they've got a real good chance of winning.

Two wins are crucial for top seed in the ECAC.

And Brown has "suddenly" become a more difficult game. Brown beating Q probably helps more than just giving us more room in first. Hopefully the team can't look past them to Yale.

Schafer referred to Smith as "day-to-day" last weekend, so I'm not sure he's confirmed to be out for this weekend unless someone has heard otherwise.

"Those two wins came at cost, though"

Man, if I'd known we could get our wins wholesale, I would've stopped paying retail years ago.

"Cornell isn't an organization.  It's a loose affiliation of independent fiefdoms united by a common hockey team."
