For those of you who care, we beat Hahvahd in lax is a very low scoring affair, 6-5 (and 3-2 after 3! I went to a lax game and a hockey game broke out) . I don't watch lax too often, so I don't feel knowledgeable enough to comment authoritatively, but my impression was the offenses were sloppy - it didn't seem to be a case of strong defenses, but of offenses that couldn't finish. Greenhalgh was kept almost entirely silent except for one assist on our 5th and "last lead change" goal, though it was definitely a great flip pass in traffic to set it up .

Oh, and our goalie is a small guy, but makes up for it in spirit, and hopping ability ;-). Not to mention talent, we coulda been out of it early (or late) if not for several great stops.

To a very casual observer this looks like a solid B year for Cornell lax so far.  True?

Pretty much.

A win over either Syracuse next Tuesday (at the Dome ::uhoh:: ) or Princeton on the 19th (in Ithaca) and no other losses would make it at least an A-.:-)
