I have an opportunity to attend homecoming this season.  Back in the day a few decades ago if you arrived a couple hours early you could park in the lot next to the stadium.
What is the situation for fans arriving by car now?  Any help is appreciated.

Homecoming now has most of that lot used up with various tents and activities.  If you re a couple hours early you might get lucky in the lots near the soccer field.

You could always try checking one of the academic building lots on Tower Rd. Parking in those lots on a weekend didn't require a permit (or at least it didn't last year). Just be sure to look at the signage.

Park in C Town and walk over the bridge.

That's if you can find a spot. Finding parking in Collegetown can sometimes be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Thanks to all for the input.  We shall see how it goes.  Hoping for good Sept. weather.  LOL:-)

You get there early enough, you will find free parking. First try the lot on Tower Road adjacent to What's Left of Upper Alumni Fields. I believe you can also buy a pass in advance. The Hoy Field parking garage is another possibility. Except that's where they shoot off fireworks Friday night and I can't recall if it's available Saturday morning. There are also shuttle buses from farther-out (near vet college) parking lots. If you're an old alum you can complain of creaky knees and you may get some help. All of this falls under the news you can use that if slowly working its way into Cornell sports PR stuff (cornellbigred.com).
