Yep.  And FWIW, I think this UVA team is better than last year's team.

Knight was fantastic.

62.5% save %!

Wow.  That's insane.
Lot of goalies have a .625 save percentage game. What's amazing is Christian Knight in his first college start getting the right saves at the right time that added up to .625 in beating the #2 team when you're sitting at #15.

That and we're so unused to seeing that high a save percentage out of a Cornell goalie.

CU77

A Cornell goalie hasn't played that well against good competition since Freshman AJ Fiore had 15 saves against Loyola in a 3OT 12-11 NCAA playoff win in 2010.

Swampy

Currently, Bryant goalie Gunner Waldt leads MD1 w/ 67.9%. Knight is eighth @ 62.9%. (Somebody has to do something about the way the table is mislabeled.)

This from the Virginia fan base:

Quote from: Streaking the LawnIn the long run, a game like this will likely do more good than harm. ... The biggest issue for the Cavaliers has to be the turnovers. They coughed the ball up 17 times (Cornell had 20!! 20!), and went an abysmal 16-21 on the clears. For a team that prides themselves on protecting the ball and executing flawless clears, Coach will certainly not be happy with those numbers. http://www.streakingthelawn.com/2014/3/8/5485854/cavaliers-fall-to-cornell-12-9-uva-virginia-2014-mens-lacrosse

Lets hope we can do some more good for Yale.

Our win over Virginia seems a bit less lustrous and the Cavs a bit overrated. Notre Dame is all over Virginia 8-3 (halftime, ESPNU). Notre Dame playing in an indoor facility like Michigan's. Built for football but available for the minor sports.
