So, after many years in Boston, the Northeast and prime college hockey territory, the wife and I picked up and moved closer to her family this summer.  This is the land of college football and college basketball and only one college hockey team anywhere within hundreds of miles.  Fortunately, that nearby team is Nebraska-Omaha.  So we'll be there for the pair of games later this month.  The question is, will any other Cornell fans be there?  Fortunately, family and Cornell duties will have me back on the east coast for the MSG game and the game at Harvard.

I forgot about this, somehow!

With some luck, I'll find a friend willing to make the 2.5 hour trip from Vermillion, South Dakota.  Life in South Dakota without a car is barely life at all.

I will, in fact, be there.  Hoping there are more than two of us.  The midwest has really robbed me of my mean streak, so I'm not sure what the game'll be like.

That was a road series that I really wanted to make.    However, a wedding my wife's family takes precedence.   Gotta keep peace on the home front.....

The best thing about being from NY is wherever you go for the rest of your life, people are nice.  ::burnout::

I was seriously thinking about it. But before I could pull the trigger I had other plans come up that woudl make the trip really hard to pull off.  So I'll have to pick anoher week to travel for Cornell hockey.
