Quote from: WillRAccording to an AP report, Moulson's consecutive game streak ended last night:  "Islanders LW Matt Moulson's games-played streak stands at 266. The only Islanders with longer streaks are Billy Harris (576) and Bobby Nystrom (301)"

I did not see any report on an injury, does anyone know why he did not play against the Bruins?

The AP report was wrong.  I watched about 2 minutes of that game and it happened to fall during one of Moulson's shifts.   Yep, he was definitely playing.

Quote from: French RageApparently the big money maker at a Shark's charity auction was a "culinary experience with Doug Murray"; I'm curious as to what that entails.

Saw Riley Nash play last night in Washington.  He didn't have a very good game and looked sluggish out there.  Of course, the same could have been said for the entire Hurricanes roster.  The Caps pretty much dominated.

Excellent. You beat the rest of us to the punchline. The comic playing for the upscale crowd, Ugarte, say, would just deadpan, "Ikea meatballs" and leave it to the audience to have read the news.

When I was watching the Islanders-Bruins game earlier this week, they showed a graphic that the Islanders' top line with Moulson and Tavares had 27 goals and the rest of the team had 26. They said the team was "top heavy."
