Hockey World Club Championships (sort of)

The NHL is going to send a team (probably not the Stanley Cup champion) to play the European champ for the Victoria Cup.

In fact, the World Championships are going on right now in Russia.  Quarterfinals the next couple of days are Russia/Czech, Sweden/Slovakia, USA/Finland, and Canada/Switzerland.

The Victoria Cup is supposed to be something like a World Club Championship.
