Not sure if everyone got to see it... but Harvard hired high-profile Tommy Amaker as the new head coach for basketball.  Amaker was an All American and later an assistant coach at Duke under Coach K, then became head coach at Seton Hall and at Michigan.

So... the Ivy sidelines now have a genuine college hoops celebrity in the basketball coaching ranks.

It was mentioned as the last tidbit of news during Statboy's corrections portion of an episode of PTI this week.  Had to clear my ears to make sure that there was a mention of Harvard basketball.

A more correct term might be "Considering how he didn't bring Michigan's program back..."

Princeton has reportedly offerered the job to former player Sydney Johnson. Johnson is currently an assistant coach at Georgetown under former Tigers head coach John Thompson III.

Yup-- offer made 2 days ago.  That program is really spinning out of control.

Cornell has beaten the Tigers 5 of their last 6 meetings.  The one loss was in double overtime.
