Sweet.  Any remote chance he sees playing time?

McKee is now listed on the USA roster at http://live82.ihwc.net/english/teams/roster.ihwc?team=USA

According to http://live82.ihwc.net/english/teams/statistics.ihwc?team=USA Craig Anderson (Blackhawks) has played 4 of the team's 5 games and put up good numbers.
Jason Bacashihua (Blues) played one game, a 2-1 loss to Canada.  However, from here on they're all big games: vs Czech Republic for a higher QF seed, then knockout rounds.

It's nice to see McKee's "club" still listed as Cornell.

I'm not sure the stats are 100% reliable.  They have a couple players listed as having played in 1 game, but nobody else is listed as playing in anything less than 5 games.  It's hard for me to imagine them dressing fewer players than they are allowed.

tim

That happens in the world championships.  Sometimes, they don't have a full roster, and dress less players in the round-robin portion of the tournament.  For example, I think Canada dressed 15 players for one of their games.

Not in the States, but the USA games all have free streaming audio on the web at http://www.usahockey.com/

Any idea what the limit on the number of players is?  In college it's 18 plus 2 or 3 goalies.  Here I see 19 plus 2 goalies for every game and two others who have played.  That mean a limit of at least 20.

tim

It's 13 forwards + 7 defenseman + 2 goalies = 22 players that can dress for each game.  These are international rules.  Recall, during the World Juniors that Pokulok was the 7th defenseman (dressed, but didn't play).

You sometimes also see 12 forwards + 8 defensemen, which makes four full lines of offense and defense.

I wonder how much Eaves had to do with McKee's invitation

Ah, thanks.  I obviously don't follow international hockey closely enough to remember those details.
