Can someone provide me with information on the CHA dues for this year?  I'd like to sign up, but I can't find details on how much to send and to whom I should send it.

Thanks!

LGR!

In case no-one has replied directly, here's some information that might help.

If you go to the CHA site http://www.athletics.cornell.edu/cha/ and select "Become a CHA Member", you'll see a membership application form.  The form has the wrong year (2001-2002), but the rest of the information matches what's in the September 2002 issue of Faceoff.  The only differences I noticed were in the list of privileges for some of the higher membership levels.  But the dues themselves ($10 student, $35 "player" level, etc.) are correct, as well as the mailing address.  I'm sure you can print this application, write in the correct year, and send it in.

Or, you could call the Hockey office, and I'm sure they'd help you out.

Thanks Anne.

I guess I had found the form before but been a little uncertain because of the dates... at least my computer recognized that I had been to the site, even if my brain didn't ::rolleyes::

I checked out the website.  What is the "hospitality room" all about?

Anne 85

The hospitality room is a designated place in the field house where CHA members can congregate, drink coffee, and eat snacks between periods of home games.  I don't remember whether they ran the hospitality room last year.  I usually choose not to fight my way through the crowd to get a small beverage and a brownie.

They ran it last year... they always announced it near the end of the period. I'm thinking of becoming a student member just to be nice (and get the pin ;-) - btw, if anyone has a Woostah pin, I'd love it :-) ), but I don't know if the hospitality room is worth a visit.

Is a cross between a classic and a ... pin from a previous season.  It's a black puck with crossed hockey sticks and a red "C".  It also arrived just in time for Zinck's night. B-]
