Vermont Kicks Off 02-03 Conference Campaign
CAPE COD, Mass. - Vermont kicks off the 41st ECAC Hockey campaign this weekend when it hosts NCAA defending champion Boston College at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 6 at Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington, Vermont.

Good to see they are on top of things as always.
The article that it links to is factually correct, but the summary... well.

B.C. Eagles fans will be glad to learn that last season never happened.  :-)

Oh goodness, having to endure back-to-back championships from BC in hockey would be just about more than my sanity could bear. Kind of like the joy that would be felt in Ithaca if Harvard ever won two NCAA hockey titles in a row, eh? ::uhoh::

Actually, from Vermont's point of view, the summary is probably accurate.  Remember, they took most of the 1999-2000 season off (elephant walk), so they're a year behind the rest of the league :-)

If you lead a good life, go to Sunday school and church, and say your prayers every night, when you die, you'll go to LYNAH!

As well as behind each other.

Sorry.

Didn't they pretty much take last season off too?
