Hey did anyone happen to record the Colgate game (away)? If so can you put it up on dc++? thanks!

HeafDog

I was looking for a recording of the game that I could watch Sunday morning (without previously having learned the score, so it would seem like I was watching it live).  The time has passed, but let me know if you do find anyone, please, so that maybe I can know for next time.  My netid is gjh2.  Thanks!  :-)

There are many alumni and townie users who have no access to the cornell dc++ hub. This forum needs a torrent tracker or a file sharing forum. But I think that would require too much work for the admins. I was thinking about suggesting a remake to ELF to switch to vBulletin software (but I didn't want to sound like a demanding and unappreciative user when I didn't have anything to offer). Well now I do haha! I have vBulletin v3.5.3 (if any admin wants it, please let me know).

For those who have never heard of vBulletin before, I think it's a pretty good customizable forum software (www.vbulletin.com). We might be able to add some features to this forum such as file sharing (as mentioned), inserting images or even video clips into our posts, catagorizing "buy" and "sell" threads in the ticket exchange board etc..

USCHO forum is an example of a vBulletin forum.

Age!!! That's his name! That's right. All I remember was that his name is an English word that takes on an actual meaning kind of like my name. I have yet to meet this mysterious man.

vBulletin, in my not so humble opinion, is a giant oozing turd that has left its mark and stench in damn near every corner of this distaster we call the world wide web. It's a bloated, crappy product, and for the privilege of propagating this crap, you get to pay for it, to boot. The software ELF runs on in open source, considerably faster, and far more customizable that vB will ever be. The chances of me switching to vB are about as good as RIT winning the national championship. This year.

It's not too much work for me to set up a file sharing forum. It's too much illegal. Not the file sharing software, per se, but I damn well know what it would be used for, and I don't need to deal with that.

Come on, Age. Don't pull your punches. Tell us how you really feel about vBulletin.
