More evidence that a top-20 poll in college hockey is ridiculous.  Boston University is ranked in the poll (#20) and they've actually lost more games than they've won.

yeah, when 53% of the division I programs [31/58(9)] receive votes in a poll, it pretty much negates its already microscopic legitimacy. if USCHO and CSTV are trying to imitate the farce that is the D1 football bowl system, they're off to a good start. i guess this is not a surprise, seeing as both have sold out both figuratively and literally.
it kind of sucks that over the last few years USCHO has fallen into the toilet and has shown no sign of extricating themselves. i guess the best thing about their complacency is that we’re likely to see the emergency of smaller, higher quality sites with better writing/reporting popping up to fill the void.
