Usually no. It's decided by head to head when possible I believe.
When Cornell, Princeton, and Dartmouth shared the title a few years ago ('03?) they drew a name out of a hat because head to head couldn't settle it. (I think it was P lost to D, D lost to C, and C lost to P making all three 5-1)

Keith,
Basketball titles are shared. There's a playoff for the NCAA bid when needed (See Yale, and the P's in '03).

Likewise volleyball.  Last year Cornell shared the title with three (?) other teams but Yale won the playoff for the NCAA bid.

Correct (year) and correct (who beat whom).

And if I remember correctly D beat P the last day, or else P would have gotten the title as usual. Didn't matter for us though, cause D won the coin flip, P went anyway, and we stayed home. But I suppose Dartmouth deserved it, they did beat Princeton afterall.

P.S. I've always wanted to see that 3-sided coin ;)

I think we'd've gone if it landed on edge.

I knew that d3 would come in handy eventually!

I didn't want to start another thread, but I think it's worth mentioning that Brown hung tough with, but lost to, Maine 2-1 on Wedn and Harvard picked up another quality win against UHN on Thurs, 1-0. Both games were on the road for the ECACHL teams.
