So, it's pretty obvious that the game is not going to be available at a sports bar in Chicago.  I even tried an Ohio State bar, no dice.  Might as well make the last ditch effort:

Is there anyone in Chicago planning to watch the game on DirecTV willing to invite me over for the game?  I'll wear my jersey, try not to swear in front of your kids, bring some beer or soda if you like, and be eternally grateful.  I'll even shower.

Seriously, I'd like to see this game.  Personal message me and I'm in the car or on the El.

Thanks, hopefully,
Scott

The plan for Chicago was Yak-Zie's at 3710 N. Clark St.  (773-525-9200), but I couldn't figure out whether they could actually get the game.

I preferred not to chance it, so I decided to listen at home unless someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

For future reference, you can almost always get the game at Joe's on Weed Street. They have hundreds of TVs that they can tune individually...just talk to the guy in the audio booth about setting one of the channels to your station, then grab a spot at one of the booths in the front of the bar that has two small TVs in it.

Thanks for the reference, though, all the same, this game was difficult to catch at *any* sports bar.
