Save $$$ on Albany Hotels

Bid $49 on Priceline.com for the Albany Airport area and you'll probably get a room at the Hampton Inn, where I'll be, and just a wrist shot from the Best Western where a lot of other Faithful will be. The total cost of your room with taxes and fees will be around $60/night. Good luck. LGR!

I got a room at the EconoLodge for 48.50 + tax.  It's just a mile or two down the road from the Airport (exit 2 of the Northway)

I posted this before, but to put it in the thread for other people's bidding help... $60 plus fees/taxes (about $70/night total) for the Holiday Inn Turf on Wolf Road via a Priceline bid. I selected Downtown, SUNY area, and Airport area, and chose 3 star only.

We stayed at this EconoLodge Downtown (Rensselaer) in 2003 and it was a very decent place for the price.  Even the free continental breakfast wasn't that bad.  And it's a quick drive to parking near the arena.
