I wonder if there's been a interview where hunting has not been brought up.   :-P

"[The Hotel School] is kind of like college and high school at the same time."

Ha. Ha. Ha.  You said it!

Let's Go RED!

I believe this is also the first time in recorded history that anyone has ever used the word "cultured" in describing being taken to a hockey game.
If you lead a good life, go to Sunday school and church, and say your prayers every night, when you die, you'll go to LYNAH!

"The CDC should have the top layer of the risers at Starr Rink scraped off and cultured."

[q]FOXSports.com: It's safe to say that this is going to be a tough weekend with the games against Colgate. Not only is Colgate your traditional rival, but you just passed them for first place in the ECAC.

DM: Yeah, this will be a very tough weekend. The second game will really be the hard one, it always is when you play a team like that two nights in a row â€" emotions will be up and all that kind of stuff. We'll see what happens.[/q]

Good thing he didn't rub off Colgate as a traditional rival...McKee did a great job deflecting the setup to get him to say bulletin board quality material!

[q]DM: I think so. It's funny, I'm probably seeing more shots this year than I did last year, but they're not as high-quality shots, I don't think.[/q]

By the way, he's facing less shots this year than he did last year...it's 21.024/60 in 2004 vs 20.556/60 in 2005.  He would know more about the quality of shots though... :-)

A Texan that likes to see the world!  Hooray!  Maybe he'll like NRA Varmint Hunter http://pc.ign.com/articles/582/582748p1.html

[q]FOXSports.com: You have traveled a lot, like you said, but going to Cornell must be something different. I can't imagine, being from Texas, that you have seen much snow.

DM: It's been kind of a culture shock. It's been both good and bad. I've been here long enough and seen enough to know that I don't ever want to live here ever again. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but I am a Texas guy and I want to go back there and live some day. I guess it is the Southern hospitality or something.

I've seen snow before while traveling to play hockey, but that was just for a weekend. Last winter was the worst winter they have had in a long time and I have never experienced anything like that. This winter has been much better.[/q]

Hahaha!  "God forsaken..."  ;-)
