[Q]Averaging about 80 the whole drive [/Q]

Unfortunately, I can't afford another speeding ticket. Parents. Angry. ::help::

Anyhow, I'm leaving shortly. See whomever there :-P ...

Toooooooo Long, Marty, especially if you are wearing in plain view your Cornell Big Red sweater !

I can attest to this... Many moons ago, stopped by "the Man" just past Unadilla on the way to an overflow crowd (and vistory) against the Clarkson "green teeth" at Lynah.   ::nut::

It was a cold Febraury.....................

Let's Go Big RED!!!!![/b]

Justin-

I don't think the question was whether the troopers can do enforcement from the air, but whether they actually bother to put a plane in the air.  Nice link in any case.

Dunno if they are still there, but on I481 Southbound just south of the Jamesville Rd Exit (Exit 3?), there were some VASCAR lines painted across the lanes. The interstate sits right next a large hill with a cutout on top, allowing a patrol car to look down upon the interstate without having to put a plane in the air. Didn't seem like they used it much when I still lived in Dewitt.

Work is no longer an excuse to live near an ECACHL team... :(

I'm leaving Boston in about an hour for anyone who wants a ride. If you are tall you may want to find another way (you'd be in the back seat of a MINI).

This thead is bring back memories...of Cornell.  VASCAR was released around the time I was in school.  I remember one of my friends (an Industrial Engineer) explaining it in '71 or '72.

"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

To anyone who hasn't left yet, you may be smart to get moving!.  It is snowing here in Troy and no one is traveling at 80 mph.

Careful around Duanesburg, too.  There's a patch of trees between the opposing lanes of traffic, and travelling on 88-E you come around a left bend, there's a literal driveway that police cars like to hide in.

...I learned this the hard way one Thanksgiving break.
