[Q]The toy toss was also a bust.[/Q]

I think there were a lot more toys thrown than what was shown on camera.  Most of the toys were thrown before the two teams came out, and there seemed to be a good number of them.  (Most people must've realized that nobody wants a toy covered in fish guts.)

I guess if you look at it from Athletics prespective, i.e. toys REPLACING fish, then yeah, it was a bust.

what was up with the sign i saw in section A, which said something along the lines of "Hey Harvard, remember McRae?"

avash is correct. my sign said "remember mcrae" on one side and "remember sammy" on the other. both were references to the harvard game at albany- the tying and winning goals.

Section A

That was a very well-written article. Good quotes too.

Just take the standings with a grain of salt and don't worry too much about first place labels in December.[/Q]In fact don't worry about it at all. Griping about some writer who wants to put someone in first with 2 losses, such as Brown, is wasted effort. The real worry is winning, and the satisfaction comes in Feb. and Mar., when those teams fall to where they belong. Of course we get some satisfaction from a certain annointed champion having 4 losses.:-D

Ack

Good sign, and good telephone cheer to go with it

JP Morosi is one of the best. Does a lot of good work for USCHO. Only problem - poor Dylan Reese still hasn't seen Lynah, because he didn't make the trip.

Well, at least we can do our best to introduce Dylan to LYNAH EAST!  I'm getting so stoked, and it's still a month away!!!

[q]....and on the back ... it said, "Remember Sammy?"[/q]

Good double-entendre ;-)

From the Crimson:

[Q]A curious addition to the toy frenzy was a foot-long massager. The male worker who picked it up looked a bit uneasy.[/Q]

::laugh::   HA HA HA  That's  great. It's a great start to a new tradition. Some kid is getting a great present.

[q]But the Lynah faithful managed more creativity, thanks to stellar organization. Websites such as elynah.com inform the public of Cornell cheers and game plans so as to avoid embarrassing moments like when Harvard fans mumble the middle lines of ?Ten Thousand Men of Harvard.?

I liked this paragraph, in light of the discussions here over the last few weeks (years?).

No, some kid's mom is getting a great Christmas present  ::rolleyes::
