Dildo thrower???

What a difference it made playing with the lead.

Smart play by DeSantis to put the puck to the net despite the bad angle.  That goalie hadn't played a puck clean all weekend.  Still not sure how it snuck in.

The first Kraft goal was the second scoring play of the night that resulted from a dump in.  That was not part of the game plan Friday night.  Glad to see the adjustment.

I was so intent on watching Walsh coming in one on one that I didn't see Kraft streaking to the net.  That's the pass play people have been calling for when I have been happy to see the guy shoot.  What a terrific finish by Kraft!

I think that I counted ten straight face off wins on the penalty kill.  It was a clinic tonight.

Really nice rebound after letting one slip away Friday.  Once they figured out how to get out of their own zone after being hemmed in early they took the game to them.  They were hitting guys right off the opening face off.  Shots were getting through and they were winning races and battles that they lost in Game 1.  Parker Murray looked good at both ends of the ice.  The crowd and band were strong again.  Another one just like it later today please.

So we lose a game with XG better than then XG game we win easily.

Agreed. And he had at least two blocked shots.

Big ones too. Seems to have slotted in very well.

I don't think he's capable of "small" anything.

I don't want to nitpick a win because they were the better team in every facet.  One thing that I think they need to get into their game as the opponents get better is they need to get back to playing below the other team's goal line.

There were multiple examples last night but one in particular stuck with me.  In the second Hiscock was ahead of the defender and first one on the puck.  No teammates had even gained the zone when he arrived on the puck so I thought he would pin it and wait for help.  Instead without even stopping he backhands it out to the slot and nobody is home.  I think that especially one of our biggest players should be using that advantage to maintain possession.

I think part of that could also be adjusting to new lines. Catalano and Pirtle are not Major and DiGiulian - so if he's expecting Major to be in that spot, it makes more sense. But yeah, gotta clean up the little things and establish more deep zone pressure.
