$5 less per month for ESPN+.  No worry about the $45 cost of Spectrum "Gold" for a month, no last minute reservation at The Golden Arrow in Lake Placid, no angst over which regional location nor the opponents in the bracket,  no worry about last minute flights to Detroit.....

My life is much simpler this week than last, but yet sadder.

They do like to tout their original programming. If you're at all interested in the "30 for 30" type series, that's available. I assume all the cricket and other "world sport" matches have also been cancelled.

There's also the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle, that many signed up for, where you basically get ESPN+ for free.

KHL playoffs being held in empty areas.  

Aussie Rules Football planned next weekend for empty stadiums, but that's likely to change.

I had considered doing this last night, before having read your post, but decided that there were still some replays I might like to show my daughter. Your post caused me to log in to see how much time I had before I'd be billed again, and I discovered I would have been billed today. So I canceled.
