Unless I am missing something, it appears the only way to watch the Northern Michigan games without actually being there is via FloSports / FloHockey.

https://www.flohockey.tv/live/6764/plans.

They don't seem to have a "per game" rate, so the least expensive option is to purchase a month for $29.99.

If anyone finds another option, please post.

ESPN+ is a bargain.  Consider all the bitching we did over the ILDN. We're blessed.

Right.  Enjoyed watching the Princeton-Dartmouth football game.  At no additional charge.

Me too. I've watched several hockey/Fb games (and even Ali/Frazier thrilla in Manila). I think the quality (on iPad) is stellar. And well worth the $5/month, compared to ILDN.

I know they dont want to bother but they could have come up with a way to make it more fiscally sound for OC teams to buy a package.. $5 a game or something.

We are no longer dealing with the dinky-rink ILDN.  If you think you can make a case to ESPN to add the non-conference games, do it.  They likely have a mechanism for product quality that would lend itself to suggestions.  I doubt it would be worth the time and legal contract issues for ESPN to add these but I could be wrong.

I'm a bit surprised ESPN doesn't just negotiate NC$$-wide deals for everything.  I guess the power conferences hold back their rights since that's a major revenue stream for them er I mean a great benefit to their mission to assist student athletes.  ::innocent::

This appears to be the radio station that Northern Michigan sports plays on: http://streamdb7web.securenetsystems.net/cirrusencore/WUPT

Anyone know if WHCU will be carrying the game? I'd guess not, but I have no idea, really.

Yes.

The broadcast seems to be very good, with lots of cameras. $15 per game is a bit steep, but I'm happier paying $15 for this quality than the $8-$12 I've paid for some of the lousy broadcasts in the past. (I recall some with a single camera in the press box.)

I splurged for an annual subscription to Flo to watch Cornell wrestling at tournaments so it was a nice bonus to get these hockey games!
