Someone posted the odds from Caesar's. Here are the ECAC teams.

12:1 Union
20:1 Colgate
25:1 Quinnipiac
40:1 Cornell
50:1 Yale
60:1 Clarkson

I'm not much of a statistics jock but it looks like the winner here is Caesar's. Am I wrong?
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

The winner is always the bookie.

You'd have to know what the full field was but, yes, of course The House Always Wins.

I was way off base here.  I thought that the list regarded the odds for the ECAC title, not the national title.

This makes sense - the house wins but not so much as my silly assumption had me thinking.

3/1 — Minnesota (opened at 9/2)
4/1 — Boston College
6/1 — North Dakota (opened at 10/1)
10/1 — Providence
12/1 — Union
15/1 — Wisconsin
18/1 — St. Cloud State
20/1 — Colgate
20/1 — Michigan
20/1 — MSU-Mankato
25/1 — Denver
25/1 — UMass-Lowell
25/1 — Miami
25/1 — Quinnipiac
30/1 — Ferris State (opened at 40/1)
40/1 — Maine
40/1 — Ohio State
40/1 — Cornell
40/1 — Notre Dame
40/1 — New Hampshire
40/1 — Bowling Green (opened 60/1)
40/1 — Boston University (opened 60/1)
50/1 — Minnesota Duluth
50/1 — Yale
50/1 — Vermont (opened 60/1)
50/1 — Northeastern (opened 60/1)
60/1 — Clarkson
75/1 — Western Michigan

And at least they followed the old saw about not betting on RPI.

If those odds had been for the ECAC championship, the house would likely have taken a bath.

I think my head must have been in the spin cycle too long.

Wonder what the payoff was from the exacta in 2013.
