This is a tough one, since we don't know what happens off the ice. To be chosen captain as a junior, McCarron must have a lot of good qualities there.

No offense to Cole (I am a big fan), but what has he done to suggest he is a better leader than the captain?

Then vote for McCarron. It would be a pretty stupid poll if it only had one option.

There have been some years where it didn't look like the captain was showing great leadership.  So this isn't an automatic award in my book.  But the winner certainly could be.
