Why doesn't the CU ticket office buy more than 400 tickets to the NCAA Regionals?  What's the matter, they don't think they can sell any more than that?  It's one thing if that's all the NCAA is going to give them, but if they're just being conservative, then that's a bad call.  I'm *not* looking forward to mass frustration if/when it comes time to buy tickets to Providence or Worcester or Bangkok or what-have-you.  :-(

So, buy for both eastern regionals.  It ought to be possible to see many of the games...  Unless we get sent west (G-d forbid).

That's what I did.  They have scheduled the games so that (barring multiple overtimes or jacknifed trucks on the highways) people can attend all of the games in Providence and Worcester.  There are tickets available.  Ticketmaster is selling for Worcester, and the Providence College ticket office is selling tickets for the Providence regional.

400 is the number given in the championship handbook.  I can't say whether CU even has the option to buy more.

Also, as has been noted previously (particularly by Chris Parkin), it's a good bet most of those will be distributed within the athletic department - so don't be surprised if Cornell doesn't put any tickets up for sale.

It may be because Cornell has to "guarantee" to sell out the 400 tickets in its allotment.  Therefore, there is no incentive to take on additional tickets, since there are other outlets for fans to purchase tickets.  Just my own speculation....

Last year we bought tix for both worcester games after the regional pairings were announced.  Do you all think there is a risk in waiting this time?
Also, what do you predict attendance-wise in Albany?  We don't expect a sellout, are we wrong about this?

I would imagine that it would be even safer to wait until after the pairings are announced this year because everyone will be waiting until they know where their team is going.
