The two defending state champs had mixed results this weekend. William Koll (So.) won the Section IV DII title with an 8-0 win in the finals. Unfortunately, Corey Dake (Sr.) lost 5-2 to Norwich freshman Tristan Rifanburg. I'm not sure how at-large bids work but I can't imagine Dake not getting one.

William Koll and Corey Dake advance to today's semis in the State Championships. Recruit Brian Realbuto advanced to the semis at 152 (D1).

Rough day for Lansing...Koll and Dake lose their semis.

Koll and Dake placed third.

Brian Realbuto placed first and won his 3rd title. Realbuto's brother, Dylan, won a title as well.

Mike Nevinger's brother, Chris (UBuffalo), won his 3rd title in a row and has not lost in 3 years.
