And he got a great cheer from Student section  - - After finished resurfacing he was in stands at end of A getting pictures taken with students.   Nice!

Does anyone know if he'll be driving all season?  I won't be back on campus until January for the NoDak games, and I really want him to be there.  It wouldn't be Cornell hockey without him.  Who else will wear tails and a top hat on senior night?

Dave has been hired aa a casual temp employee - he will be there all year long

Dear Uncle Ezra- I am an avid Cornell Hockey fan so I was very sad this summer to hear that the Zamboni driver was retiring. Now I am confused- he has still been there. I am always excited to see what costume he wears- he does bring quite a bit of personality to the games. Do you know if he is permanently back or just making guest appearances?

Thanks! A loyal and curious hockey fan

Dear Hockey Fan,

Yes, Dave retired, but has come back on a part-time basis and will be working a majority of the men's ice hockey games for right now.  Just can't keep him away!
