Yeah, and be careful about that, because last night there was a similar problem and they jacked the volume up instantaneously and without any warning at one point.  You really would be deaf if you were doing this and that happened.

The same thought occurred to me when I was initially checking for sound.  I didn't think my thesis advisor would appreciate having to pantomime the finer details of molecular biology during my lab meeting.  ::looking::
