Unbelievable to get a kid with such an Iowa State pedigree.  Kudos to Coach Koll and the entire staff.

Slight difference in how they answer questions.

WS: What would you say your future wrestling goals are?

EK: To be an undefeated, four-time national champ and to win an Olympic gold medal.

Intermat: Obviously, you still have your senior season in front of you, but have you mapped out your college wrestling goals?

Villalonga: My goals are probably not much different than most wrestlers entering college. It would be great to be a four-time time All-American and eventual NCAA champion. I obviously have a lot of hard work in front of me to be able to achieve these goals.

While we're at it, another recruit, Marshall Peppelman is an even higher rated wrestler in Villalonga's weight class, but we'll see how long they stay at the same weight. At an AAU meet, Peppelman decked one opponent in 6 seconds. Peppelman went on to win the tournament, completely dominating his opponent in the finals.

Considering that his father went to and coached at Iowa State, I really like this quote:

"From the time I was young my dad has been talking about Cornell and Koll's ability as a great coach," said Knight. "My dad believes he is one of the most technical guys in the sport, as a wrestler and as a coach."
