Bad day for a hat trick

Last night was Construction Helmet Giveaway Night for the Chicago Blackhawks.  Imagine what happened when Jonathon Toews scored a hat trick, the first of his NHL career.  YouTube  Actually a bad choice for a promotion at any hockey game, I suppose.  Toews had put the goal in the net for an apparent hat trick earlier in the game, but it was ruled a high stick.  That had brought on a first wave of helmets on the ice, one of which hit him in the head.  "I got smoked in the head there as I was going by the bench."
