Best also wrote an article in Newsday in January '07 about how he was in attendence for the famous 1979 "Randy Wilson Game" vs. Providence in the ECAC Playoffs.
This came up after the Stars' Patrik Stefan similarly missed the empty net against the Oilers on 1/4/07.
