N.Dakota and Minnesota tied at 2-2. New ice and a 20 min sudden death OT period coming up.[/quote]
I've got the audio from UND.  Fun to listen to.

Since Denver and CC are not in the tourney, will the committee "award" Air Force with the #4 seed in the Denver regional so that there will be some reason for the locals to go to the games?

Is there much difference between UAH and AirForce that flipping their seeding (15 and 16) would matter much to ND and Minnesota?

Too bad for the WCHA this year, only 3 teams in compared to 4 for CCHA and 5 for HEA. I wonder how their fans will explain that? ;-)

Damn those gophers!
Wheeler scores just a few minutes into the OT session. He dived to touch the puck before an icing was called, did so and "directed" into the net. This should make SportsCenter.

You just can't get a decent OT game unless the UMD Bulldogs (male or female) are involved.

UMD Lady Bulldogs v. Wisconsin, tomorrow at 1 pm on CSTV.

Blake Wheeler scored an unreal once-in-a-lifetime goal in OT to win it for the Gophers.  He dove for the puck as it was heading towards the UND net, and flat on his stomach, sliding on the ice, he managed to whack it in with one hand.

OOf.  Talk about "unlucky sieve."

The news caught my eye given the fact that they went undefeated (27-0-2), like that other team we know...;-)
