OT: Barney wears a CU tee

In last week's episode of "How I Met Your Mother," Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris, was sick in bed and Robin (the newscaster) changed him into a gray tee-shirt with what looked like a hand-drawn Cornell Athletic logo (the bear wrapping his arms around a Big Red C).  Anybody knows how this came about?  I don't believe that any of the characters on the show has a supposed Cornell connection.
