Not that I wouldn't mind there being a Cornell hockey scandal, but would this be legal by NCAA standards? You would be giving something of value to NCAA athletes and/or their families. I assume that you would be regarded as representatives of the University. I have been told that I am considered a representative of RPI purely due to the few dollars that I pay yearly to join the booster club.
I was waiting to see which observant Cornellian picked up on the potential violation issue. You win. If Cornell gets its wrist slapped for letting parents watch their son play for free, then they don't have to go after things like the house USC's Reggie Bush got free for his parents. Allegedly got free for his parents. Sorry.
I don't know if UrsaMinor is a Cornellian but I think he is first an Engineer (RIP) at heart.
Recently, I had a sex-change operation and became ursusminor. ::banana::

I am RPI alum (three times) and have no connection to Cornell with the exception of once dating a Cornellian while I was at RPI. (Yes, she was female. :-P )

This assumes that reading E-Lynah more than once a day equates with no connection to Cornell.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

So... has someone actually heard from players' parents that this is a problem? Borrowing a little bit of money from someone else shouldn't be that difficult (and that's not even considering the fact that most of the players probably have US credit cards), so I imagine if this problem did exist, parents have probably already figured out ways around it.

Without knowing if this is actually a problem (and I suspect it isn't), this conversation is pretty pointless, no?

You may not have read the other thread where I previously posted this and which then got Bill to start this thread. I doubt that they haven't figured out a way around this, but it does speak to the poor service from CSTV. Afterall, if you hear once that someone from Canada wants to sign up for your hockey service, it should ring some marketing bells in your company, thus leading to a fix. Oh well.

Like Seinfeld. And nearly as popular.

Unfortunately, I doubt they think of themselves as a hockey service.
