Actually it was both for the Union @ Cornell game.  John Murphy was working as the second referee(there were 2 that night) and Dan was one of the assistants.

From the shadows, Greening appears to be nearly a foot in the air.

Actually hiring an agent would remove his amateur status.  If it is just his "family advisor" then he should be ok.  Name on the dotted line specifics.  That is how I understand the rules.

Yeah, and it sucks that Blake Gallagher only wins about 80% of his faceoffs.

He rarely updates that blog.  It's on his regular recruiting site which is now unavailable.

Oh, good.  Of course his aol website has reached its bandwidth cap.  Can't you people control yourselves?

Does anyone else not see it on Heisenberg's blog, or am I missing something?  Please tell me I'm missing something.

Didn't they rename the hallway where all the vendors are positioned during games at about the same time the renovation was done?  I don't know if that was the intention or not.  The only place where enough room for a nice entrance could have fit was behind A, but what was built is not on the scale that you are mentioning.

I'm pretty sure he made it known before he came to Cornell that he was going to play both sports. I remember Ari mentioning it on here.
Yeah, you are probably right.  This wouldn't be a new development.

or his trying to play both sports doesn't work for Schafer.
At first I thought you were joking. Cornell Baseball

I can't imagine that makes Schafer happy.

As a former AEM major, I will say that the players who are AEM majors are more likely to carry a 3.0 or better, and they should be.  As a TA I had contact with many players and I can say that they were very intelligent and capable students.  Actually, they were some of the best students to have in class.  I think Schafer really rides them about school work.

Not sure if it has been posted yet but...

Cam Abbott was named the CHL Rookie of the Year.  He scored 58 points in 42 games.

Interestingly, the Mudbugs were about a .400 team before bringing together both Abbotts and Daniel Pegoraro.  Jeremy Downs is on the team, too.  From its schedule, it looks like they finished 44-20, but the website standings say 44-14.  Currently in a 10-game winning streak.

Did anyone notice that the bear suits were replaced at the end of '05?  We had the fashion design department create them rather than the theater department and they came out very well.  Very well means that the heads didn't fall off if you tipped it more than a few degrees.  It also meant that small children didn't wet themselves when the bear approached.  An added bonus was the fans installed in the heads for cooling.  The old suits would get hot.  I think they were worn on the ice for 1 game in 05-06, and they haven't been to hockey since.  It's a shame.

Ah, the internet.  Looks like Hornby went hunting.  Can't actually see the hit, but you can see enough to picture it.  Hornby is coming from the blue line into the corner and hits the guy going behind the net.

I think the writer's point is that the atmosphere in the rink is lacking.  He usually writes with a sports fan's perspective.  I don't think he is commenting on fluctuations in the Albany economy.
