Both Charter basic and Cox basic cable packages have NHLTV.  Posted in the off chance that someone besides me within a 100 mile radius actually cares down here.

Speaking of which, last night's sieve Mrazek (or is that Mr. Azek?) wore no socks at all.  That led to a few fun chants over in section G.::burnout::
[Q]We have more living alumni than almost any school other than Michigan.  Come on people -- we can beat these other schools if we put some effort in and spread the word.[/Q]

We have more living alumni that any almost any other school????  that sounds crazy to me. Is this true? Surely the big state schools and big ten schools, etc. must have far more living alumni than us... or they lag behind us only by virtue of growing more recently than Cornell, in which case we will soon be overtaken by many, many schools.
I beleive he meant we have more living alumni than any school on the Doonsebury list than all of the other schools, save Michigan.
That happened at brown this year. They also were letting anybody take the pizza in the rink until my friend and I walked up in cornell jersey's and then they said brown students only. Then 2 seconds later they let a couple 40 year olds take some. I kinda doubt it for colgate though, Cornell for them is like Sucks for us.
Also, at said game, one lucky brown student was entered into a raffle to win a LOT of airfare....the # of miles escapes me, but needless to say if you were a Brown student at that game, you probably had a 1 in 200 chance of winning. ::rolleyes::

There is one out.... Grant will chime up eventually with the info..... i hope....
The last I knew there were copies available in the campus store.

I defer all further questions to Jason Endriss '08 (jre29), the current Pep Band Manager.
There might be copies available in the Campus Store...but if you buy "Live at Lynah" or "Voices of the Faithful" directly from Jason, the pep band gets the money directly and you don't pay a mark-up.  Win-Win.

Hey Kyle, glad to hear you enjoyed your trip.  D, E, F, and G have been doing really well all season.  A large, large group of true undergrad Faithful ended up there after the stampede fiasco.  Those sections are filled with students sporting the Faithful T-shirts, so the good fans are easy to find there.  As previously pointed out, the top several rows of A have been >50% empty for many games, which is sad because the band would love to let more people in.  B has had its good nights and bad nights.  And rush really did cut down on numbers this weekend, though I don't understand why they would purposely schedule against home hockey.
I have to say that the only real downside to sitting in E is that I was too far away from the band to hear it clearly, so I was embarrassingly off by almost a full step on the Gary Glitter "1-2-1234" deal (which no one else seems to do anymore, anyway).  I really wish the band were either near the red line or at the east end, so the sound would reach the entire student section instead of being blocked by 1700 standing bodies and the press box.  Maybe with the renovations...
I agree with you for acoustical reasons, but I'd hate to see a solidly reliable group of hecklers moved so far from the opposing goalie.  There have also been several threads discussing the "advantage" of having us near the opposing locker room, though that may change with the renovations.

Did anyone else notice how he referenced the Faithful reading newspapers at the Harvard game and tossing objects on the ice?  I found that funny, because I don't remember a home Harvard game this semester, and we definitely weren't throwing objects on the ice in Lynah East.

[Q] And what was up with the Tuba tonight? I think that summed up the game, though I did laugh a lot....[/Q]

He's a freshman player...none of the other tubas were around tonight due to a marching band road trip to Penn.  He did an amazing job though...I'd never want to solo in front of the entire Lynah crowd!

[Q] That's pretty much from our 3.5 year 0-7 stretch against them, until we finally topped them at Lynah with Bâby and Murray leading the way in '03. [/Q]

IIRC, Moulson led the charge in that game, completing his first college hat trick.  Just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

Well, I'm happy to know that someone who is intimately involved with our group represented us at this meeting...::rolleyes::

The cowbell sounded really good on Friday, Ari.  If you want to play the cowbell at a specific time in the game, come early and say hi to whoever is conducting the pepband that night and we'll make sure you get a chance.  Either that, or just start up the cowbell right after a whistle...we know not to play over you. :-D

Wow, everyone should really be watching that CC/Union game.  I had no idea they faced each other until I saw this post...thanks KeithK.  Anyone else have a feeling the outcome of this game will have a huge impact on our PWR this spring?

Go UNION!:-P

Does it list an Ithaca (607) phone number?  Because then we could find out which it is...  I don't care much, as long as it's not Chapter House I'll be OK. :)

[Q] Or maybe give preference for hockey tickets to students who attend other sporting events. [/Q]

Like how the pepband gives out tickets to its members? :-)
